About me

In May 2017, I graduated from Harvard University with a degree in chemistry and a minor in astrophysics. I was awarded a postgraduate fellowship that has allowed me to travel the world to witness and document the great apes of the world (gorillas, chimpanzees, and orangutans) and the conservation efforts in place to protect these endangered animals. I began my journey in the mountains of southwestern Uganda, and I am now living in Indonesian Borneo. In the fall of 2018, I will return to the world of lab science as I begin a PhD in chemistry at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).

Besides nature, my favorite things in life are music and pie.
